Very good condition in a slightly better than good dustwrapper. Blue cloth with black titles. Colour frontis and 8 other illustrations. The first post-war Biggles story.
Spine and corners bumped. Spine faded and browned at top and bottom. Inscription in ink to front endpaper. Browning to endpapers. Foxing to page edges otherwise contents clean. Dustwrapper is edge worn and creased with areas of loss which have been covered on verso with browned tape. Same tape has been used on verso to strengthen folds. Wrapper is grubby.
